Lula and Funes aim to kick-start trade between Brazil and El Salvador
The presidents of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, and El Salvador, Mauricio Funes. are to meet today at a business gathering in Sao Paulo that aims to improve trade relations between the two countries.
The Brazil-El Salvador seminar will be attended by some 50 Salvadoran business leaders and 150 Brazilians seeking opportunities in sectors such as aeronautics, electronics, energy and biofuels.
Additional areas to be studied include sanitation equipment, infrastructure, logistics, textiles and tourism.
