Wednesday, January 2, 2013

Major new investments in Panama's ports are underway thanks to a growth in the volume of cargo spurred by the region's economic growth.

The president of Panama's Maritime Chamber, Willys Delvalle, highlighted studies by the Panama Canal Authority on plans for a port terminal in the Corozal area.

He also pointed out that a development in Isla Margarita has attracted investment of some $600 million.
