Manufacturing sector boosts Mexico's exports

Mexico's manufacturing industry, particularly the automobile sector, pushed the country's exports in April.

Mexico's total exports reached $34.7 billion in April, 3.7 percent more than in the same period last year, according to official figures.

Manufacturing exports grew 7.1 percent during the same period.
