Martinelli attends World Economic Forum in Davos to boost Panama's image
Ricardo Martinelli, Panama's president, will take part this week in the World Economic Forum's annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland, in order to "boost Panama's image as a country that takes car or if public finances and ecoknomic policy", his office said.
Martinelli will use the meeeting as an opportunity to promote Panama as a destination for investment and tourism, the statement added.
The president will be a member of a panel during sessions to discuss, global trade, public works, migration and Latin America's role in the world economy.
