Mexican economy from bad to worse

Mexico’s economy not only remains far from the growth promised by President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador -- it isn’t even close to keeping up with the disappointing rates of his predecessors.

Gross domestic product rose 0.1 percent in the third quarter from three months earlier, according to preliminary data published Wednesday by the country’s statistics institute, Bloomberg reports.
