Mexican economy grew 1.1 percent last year

Mexico's gross domestic product grew 1.1 percent last year, the lowest growth in the last four years.

A poor performance by the industrial sector was one of the main factors behind the figure, the country's statistics agency INEGI said.

Bank of Mexico analysts had previously forecast a growth rate of 1.2 percent, while the Finance Ministry predicted 1.3 percent.
