Mexican investment to Nicaragua stays strong

From 2005 to 2012, Mexico has invested $868 million in Nicaragua.

The number represents 18 percent of the $4.7 billion in foreign investment Nicaragua received in that period.

Last year, Mexico became Nicaragua's third foreign investor, behind Venezuela and the United States.
