Mexicans see opportunity in Monkey Point ecological city for Nicaragua

A group of Mexican business leaders is exploring the possibilities of investment in Nicaragua. Above all, the group is keen in the construction of an “ecological city” at the port of Monkey Point on the Caribbean.

Representatives of 17 companies have been looking at an exploratory visit that aims to arrive to decisions.

The deep-water port project at Monkey Point is expected to cost investment of some $450 million.
