Mexico aims for success in second oil auction

The country is now preparing for its second oil tender on September 30, hoping that spruced-up terms will trigger a bigger turnout and better bids for the nine fields on offer.

They are grouped into five blocks, have certified reserves as exploration has been done, and are ready to start producing.
