Mexico and Costa Rica seek to bolster ties

The Mexican government is seeking to strengthen ties with Costa Rica.

Mexican foreign secretary José Antonio Meade said Mexico will be a valuable ally for Costa Rica's entry to the Pacific Alliance.

"We think Costa Rica will find support with Mexico in order to enter the Pacific Alliance and the OECD," Meade said.
