Mexico City registers booom in new offices
Monday, October 20, 2014
Mexico City is seeing an unprecedented number of office building construction projects, with 1.46 million square meters of A-class offices currently being built.
The figure represents a growth of 20 percent from June 2013 to June 2014, said José Luís Rubí, Market Research Manager at Cushman & Wakefield México.
The boom was detonated by the country's macroeconomic conditions and the expectations of the government's structural reforms.
