Mexico rakes in $16.3 billion from tourism

Despite the extensive coverage of Mexico in the international media because of the wave of criminal violence in several regions, foreign tourists are flooding in.

Last year, Mexican earned $16.3 billion from tourism, a 16.6 percent increase on 2013.
