Mexico registers record foreign investment

Foreign direct investment to Mexico reached a record high of $35.18 billion last year.

The figure is 178 percent higher than the $12.6 billion in 2012.

Last year's amount includes the acquisition of Grupo Modelo by Belgium's Anheuser-Busch InBev for $13.2 billion.
