Mexico reports 7 percent growth in tourist arrivals

The Mexico Ministry of Tourism reports that during the month of September, the arrival of international visitors by air to Mexico increased by 7.1 percent compared to the same month the prior year.

According to the Integrated System for Migration Operations, an increase in the number of visitors from 125 nationalities was registered during September.

The number of travelers to Mexico by air during September from the US and Canada reported growth of 3.7 percent and 2.2 percent, respectively, compared to the same period last year.
