Mexico's Chedraui profit rises boosted by new stores

Mexican supermarket chain Grupo Comercial Chedraui said its third-quarter profit rose 2.5 percent, helped by new store openings.
Chedraui, Mexico's third biggest retailer by sales, said it earned $29 million in the July-September period, compared with $28.5 million in the same period last year.
The company said third-quarter revenue rose 2.8 percent helped by 16 new stores opened in the last 12 months in Mexico.
