Mexico's Iusacell sues IBM for $2.5 billion

Mexican telecoms firm Iusacell sued U.S. technology giant for $2.5 billion over alleged fraudulent misrepresentations made in Mexico.

The Grupo Salinas-owned firm said that IBM induced it to enter a contract with IBM's Mexican subsidiary that led to a more than three-year delay in revamping its information technology systems.

Iusacell said it would not have partnered with IBM had it known its representations were false and would not be honored.
