Mexico's Videgaray vows to defend the peso

Mexican Finance Minister Luis Videgaray said his nation’s officials will not hesitate to take action to protect their currency should it come under pressure by large financial flows out of the country or a renewed drop in oil prices.

“We are willing to act. We have the instruments. We have the capacity to do it,” he said in an interview on the sidelines of the International Monetary Fund’s spring meetings.
