Mexico sees $28 billion in telecoms
Monday, October 6, 2014
Mexico is expecting investments of up to $28 billion in its telecoms sector, after the government approved a reform for the industry.
Firms such as AT&T, SoftBank, Alcatel-Lucent and Ericsson have shown interest in Mexico.
The more established firms in the country, such as Telefónica, will be able to expand their coverage of the country, attracting more virtual operators into the Mexican market, said analyst Reyes Pérez-Bernal.
