MicroVention is the latest maker of medical instruments to set up in Costa Rica

MicroVention is the latest foreign company to set up a plant for the manufacture of medical instruments in Costa Rica.

The company is based in California. The Costa Rica project will be its first outside of the United States.

Construction of the new plant is to begin next month and will be ready by September of next year. Investment in the project is $8 million.
