Friday, July 2, 2010

Milk producers in Honduras are waiting for the publication of a government tender next month for the provision of a scheme for school breakfasts.
The decision by Congress to promote the scheme has raised producers’ hopes after a period of sharp losses for the sector because of over- supply.
The tender is expected to raise $18 million, which means 10 million liters of milk that should bolster demand in the market.
