Millicom International Cellular recognized $1.06 billion Honduras revaluation

Tuesday, October 19, 2010

During the third quarter, Millicom International Cellular recognized a gain of $1.06 billion following the revaluation of its operation in Honduras.

Overall, Capex is expected to be approximately $700 million in 2010, and the operating free cash flow margin is expected to be around 20 percent.

Capex in 2011 will be higher than for 2010 due to the roll out of 3G and the need for additional voice capacity in Africa, as well as the addition of capacity in Latin America where 3G usage is growing well.
