Millicom revenues up 15 percent to $1.1 billion in second quarter

In a second-quarter earnings conference call Mikael Grahne, chief executive, said Millicom International said revenues for the quarter were $1.1 billion up 15 percent year-on-year.

The underlying Ebitda margin was 46.2 percent, 0.9 percentage points lower than for the first quarter, reflecting greater investment in 3G and services. 

Millicom ended the quarter with 41.3 million customers, up 12 percent year-on-year.
