Million-dollar homes rise in what once upon a time was Panama City’s trash dump

Monday, July 5, 2010

Thirty years ago, few people could have imagined that million-dollar homes would be built in what then was the Panama City trash dump and mangrove swamp.

The first constructions were made in 1995 during the Costa del Este project, a top-quality exclusive development.

Currently six residential projects and two logistics centers are under construction at land costs of more than $1,500 a square meter.
