Minerco gets environmental approval for 100-megawatt Honduran wind farm

Minerco Resources has received approval from the environmental unit of the municipality of San Marco de Colon for its 100-megawatt Sayab wind power project in Honduras.

Last month, the company signed an agreement to acquire the project from Energia Renovable Hondurena.

Construction of the wind project is expected to begin in 2013.
