Minerco Resources in $5 million deal to fund Chiligatoro hydro project in Honduras

Latin American renewable energy developer Minerco Resources has signed a $5 million equity funding facility with Centurion Private Equity, an affiliate of Roswell Capital Partners, to help finance the initial phases of the Chiligatoro hydroelectric project in Honduras and future potential acquisitions.

 

Construction for the Chiligatoro Project is expected to begin in 2011.
