Mining companies are betting for strife-torn Nicaragua

Mining companies in Nicaragua have doubled their output of gold while their silver output has risen by 11 times.

Now, amid serious violence in middle of a political and social conflict, the companies continue to bet on the nation.

Britain's Condor Gold saw its shares surge last week when it presented the environmental permits for its La India project.
