Monday, February 21, 2011

The Central American council of foreign and trade ministers failed to resolve a complaint lodged by Costa Rica over the removal of the head of the Central American Secretariat for Economic Integration.

“There wasn’t sufficient consensus,” said Erick Coyoy, the Guatemalan economy minister, at the meeting in Guatemala City.

The meeting was attended by ministers from Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama.
