More textile companies head for Nicaragua

Nicaragua continues to lead growth in textile exports and investment in Central America.

Several companies that operate in the rest of Central America and in Asia are very much interested in setting up plants in Nicaragua, said Antenor Rosales, government of Nicaragua’s central bank.

So far the sector has 92,000 workers and the aim is to reach 100,000 by the end of the year.
