More than half of all Costa Ricans have Internet and computers at home

Some 53 percent of the Costa Rican population uses Internet, according to a study by CID Gallup for Radiográfica Costarricense (Racsa).
Racsa is a company of the state-owned Costa Rican Electricity Institute. It provides Internet service. The study says that 52 percent of homes have a computer at home.
Currently, more than a million people have access to Internet in their home, up from about 700,000 a year earlier.
