Multi Inversiones forges alliance with Café Barista

Corporación Multi Inversiones, best known for its Pollo Campero restaurant chain, forged an alliance with another Guatemalan company, the Café Barista chain.

The new company, to be known as Cantata SA, will be a 50-50 joint venture.

Café Barista has 16 coffee shops in Guatemala and plans to open eight more. Further openings are planned in El Salvador, Honduras, Costa Rica and Panama.
