New $3 million research and development center on tourism to be based in Costa Rica

A new Inter American center for training and sustainable tourism research and development will be headquartered in Costa Rica.

The center was created by the Costa Rican Association of Tourism Professionals, and will be a permanent base for research on various areas of tourism.

The association estimates an investment of around $3 million for the project.
