New car sales in Panama up 15 percent

New car sales in Panama grew 15 percent in the first eight months of the year, compared to the same period last year, according to authorities.

A total of 36,189 cars were sold in the period, about 4,800 more than the same eight months in 2012.

The car models with most demand were sedans, coupes and trucks.
