New chief for Canada's Colombia focused Frontera Energy

Canadian oil company Frontera Energy has appointed Richard Herbert to its board of directors and promoted several executives to vice president roles.

The addition of Herbert, who has worked with BP, Philips Petroleum, and Talisman Energy, brings the Frontera Energy board to seven members.

He has experience with operations in Colombia as well as Mexico and Venezuela, specifically serving as a board member for Equion in Colombia.
