New Costa Rica congress lacks economic know-how

A lack of expertise could affect Costa Rica's incoming government when it comes to discussing economic issues, Costa Rican daily La República reported.

Only three out of 57 members of congress have expertise in economics, job creations and tax laws.

The main issues the government will discuss over the next four years are a tax reform and laws aimed at boosting productivity.
