New garment dye technology paints bright future in .El Salvador for Hanesbrands

Hanesbrands, the US-based global garment manufacturer, has invested $5 million technological innovation at its El Salvador plant that aims to generate several millions more.

The new project involves dyeing garments in colors to match the taste of clients rather than in bulk.

Hanesbrands has an 11,000 workforce that makes it the biggest employer in El Salvador, and it is the leading exporter of the nation's garment industry. Last it year it exported more than $800 million.
