New investments in tourism for Nicaragua. Some $20 million planned for four-star hotel and two sports marinas

Nicaragua is expected to have two new marinas and a four-star hotel in operation to offer tourists prepared to spend $200 a day. Most visitors to Nicaragua currently spend only about half as much.

The Nicaraguan Tourism Institute announced the construction of two sports marinas on the Caribbean, with 100 cabins and the capacity for 150 yachts. Investment will cost some $15 million.

In addition, a four-star hotel is expected to be built at a cost of some $5 million in León.
