New law frees up $1 billion for more public spending in Panama over next three years

The government of Panama will have $1 billion more to spend between this year and 2013.
A new law on fiscal responsibility sets a non-financial publis sector deficit of $2.1 billion over three years.
Before the law was introduced, the government had been allowed to have a fiscal deficit of $1.1 billion between this year and 2013.
