New terminal at Costa Rica's Liberia airport in Guanacaste to open after long delay

After a nine-month delay, the new terminal at Costa Rica's Liberia airport in Guanacaste is to be opened January 12.

The $35 million construction was originally to be opened last April but Coriport, which won the contract, failed to meet the deadline.

Construction itself was completed three months ago, but there were delays on the delivery of requisites for the holder of the concession.
