New wagons for Panama Metro Line 1

Panama’s Metro Line 1 will get 70 new wagons in 2017 to cope with increasing passenger demand. The first batch is scheduled to be in service in June. The project called for an investment of $150 million.

Trains the capacity of the existing system, capacity will be increased to 600,000 passengers per trip and the fleet of 20 trains will increase to 25.
