New workers’ fun park reopens in Guatemala after $30 million face-lift

With a new logo and name, Guatemalan amusement park Mundo Petapa has opened after a $30 million face-lift.
The extension involves 4.3 hectares of 19 new attractions that are expected to draw 1.3 million visitors a year.
The park belongs to the Institute for Workers in the Private Sector (Intra), which is expecting to greet 20,000 visitors this weekend.
