Nicaragua aims for $500 million from foreign investment with boost in energy

Nicaragua expects $500 million this year in foreign investment. In 2009, it attracted $434 million.
During the first half of this year, $215 million has been invested $17 million less than in the same period of last year.
The ProNicaragua investment promotion agency explains that investment in the first half of this year has fallen in energy by $17 million, but the trend is sure to be reversed later in 2010.
