Nicaragua aims for increase of jobs in nation’s free-zone textile plants

The government of Nicaragua expects growth of investment in the country’s free zones is likely to reach 83,000 jobs.
US, Korean and Venezuelan countries are interested in the free-zone (maquiladora) plants, mainly in textiles.
Between July and the end of this year, some 10,000 jobs are likely to be created.
