Nicaragua aims to broaden Latin market for tourism

Nicaragua is preparing a plan to attract more tourists from Panama, Brazil and Mexico.

All three nations have been named as priority markets for Intur, Nicaragua's tourism institute.

Intur chief Mario Salinas says people from Panama, Brazil and Mexico want to visit Nicaragua but are unable to find information about how to get there or where to stay when they arrive.
