Nicaragua aims to build pipeline to transport Venezuelan oil to Asia

Nicaragua’s foreign minister, Samuel Santos, flew into Prague in a quest for investors in a plan to build a pipeline and a deep-water port on Nicaragua’s Atlantic Coast.

The project aims to permit the export of Venezuelan oil to ports in Asia.

In addition to the pipeline project and the port, Santos is checking out possibilities for investments in solar energy, geothermal and wind power.
