Nicaragua and Honduras buck the declining trend of coffee producers

Coffee exports by the group of nine Latin American producing countries except for Brazil have fallen by 10.15 percent within only a month for the conclusion of the 2009-2010 harvest.

Honduras and Nicaragua are the exceptions. They have increased their exports by 6.02 and 24.06 percent respectively between October 2009 and August 2010.

Costa Rica has reported a drop of 9.35 percent, El Salvador by 25.15 percent and Guatemala 2.46 percent.
