Nicaragua and Honduras rank low in development

Nicaragua and Honduras are at the bottom of the list in Central America in terms of social development, according to the latest study of United Nations Development Program.

Nicaragua is at number 129, while Honduras is at number 120, out of 187 countries. The study includes life expectancy, income and education levels.

Panama is at the top in the region, followed closely by Costa Rica.
