Nicaragua and Panama are tops for green business

Nicaragua and Panama are two of three Latin American countries rated as the best for renewable energy business, according to a report at the Río +20 conference.

The study is known as Climascopio and rates 28 Latin American and Caribbean countries in four categories.

Nicaragua is steadily reducing its reliance on the use of oil-fired power plants.
