Nicaragua competes for five World Travel Awards

Nicaragua was nominated in five World Travel Awards 2014 categories.

The Central American nation will be competing for Leading Hotel 2014, Leading Green Hotel, Leading Tourism Board and Leading Hotel Brand in Mexico and Central America.

"Nicaragua is increasing its position as a safe and high-quality tourism destination, and we are becoming more competitive," said Ximena Gurdián, president of the Nicaraguan small hotels association.
