Nicaragua concerned over tourist robberies

Nicaragua's national tourism commission has expressed concern over the number of robberies to tourists in Ometepe island and San Juan del Sur.

The main targets of robbery are backpackers.

According to Ometepe hotels, each week there are four reported robberies to backpacker travellers.
