Nicaragua confident of winning dispute with Colombia

The International Court of Justice at The Hague will favor Nicaragua in its maritime dispute with Colombia in the Caribbean, said a ruling Sandinista Front deputy Jacinto Suarez.

Nicaragua is disputing the exercise of its own sovereignty over 200 nautical miles of exclusive economic zone.

Suarez stated that Colombia has no other choice than to respect the decision, which should be announced on Monday.
